Vintage C1940s 'Jesbra' nursing bra with CC41 utility logo label. Salmon soft pink cotton bra with elasticated panel at the back and hook and eye strip off the the one side. Cups are opened with button fastening and feature diamond stitching detail around the lower section.
The utilty scheme was introduced in 1941 in response to the shortage of raw materials and labour for the war effort. Regulations were put in place restricting the amount of cloth, type of decoration and time taken to manufacture.

CONDITION
Great condition- minimal signs of wear to elastic panel at back along top edge
